The mission
News UK owns a wealth of media brands across the UK including The Times, The Sun, The Sunday Times and Wireless.
They needed to scale their tech team quickly, but with no tech recruitment function, a disengaged hiring community and no agency PSL they were struggling.
The solution
We reduced time to hire and realigned stakeholder expectation by setting up a tech recruitment function onsite including a Senior Talent Partner.
With a focus on employer brand building, we led the development of the News UK tech community involving meetups and social events.
IMG Arena
The mission
IMG Arena launched in 2012, their expertise including the creation and delivery of some of the world’s best sporting content with data feeds, live streaming service, events centres and virtual sports products.
They needed to continue scaling up their tech teams whilst saving money compared to previous growth spurts.
The solution
We swiftly installed a dedicated internal recruitment team, including a lead talent partner and talent partner. Focusing on direct sourcing with a technical go to market strategy, we have projected agency savings of £225,000 for 36 hires over 6 months.

Kroo
The mission
Kroo is developing and using innovative solutions to drive positive change and to help solve everyday banking problems.
A start up with no hiring processes in place, KROO required costs to be low despite hiring in a very niche enclosure.
The solution
The first outcome of the talent workshop was to place a Head of Talent on site. This prompted 14 technical hires over a six month period, as well as four iNEDs, including Chair of Remuneration, Chair of Audit and Chair of Risk.
Savings of £97,200 in agency fees during a six month period.
